Camera Raw wouldn’t be what it is today without our passionate and loyal customers around the world. Giving us regular feedback helps us to find and fix issues that we may otherwise not know about.

We are listening. Here are a few ways that you can send us feedback:Thanks! When you are editing a raw file, the scale should be in °Kelvin when you first open the file and ACR pops up to give you initial edit opportunity. If you open a raw file and then attempt to use the FilterCamera Raw Filter after opening – you will get a 0-100 scale. To give yourself the ability to go back to edit White Balance on a °Kelvin scale, you must FileOpen As Smart Object when you bring the raw file into Photoshop initially.Note: If you open ACR as a filter with a JPG/Tiff/PSD, the White Balance sliders should be disabled. I truly hate how adobe has left things for users.

It’s great for everyone who can afford monthly subscriptions and if you have fast internet. Oh but wait, if I quit your service I have nothing to show for my money.

I’ve already paid for LR 5 and CS6 as I’m sure other users have, why would I want to pay a monthly subscription? I’d rather pay a small update fee. It’s honestly BS. I’m really starting to not like you adobe. Games are doing this to too. Buy a game and then you have a huge download update, at least games do it for free.

So, let me get this straight I have to pay a monthly subscription to your service, pay for fast internet so I can even download the damn program, be annoyed if I have to reinstall for any reason, download again. Blah blah blah. Way to go Adobe. This makes me want to just stop being creative altogether. Isn’t that the exact opposite of what you are going for? I am really suffering problem with Lightroom cc update 2015 6.1 & Camera Raw 9.6.1 which came June or July update from adobe.

I use my GPU just for editing photos which is Nvidia Gtx 950, well my system is working great without any problem with the GPU but only the lightroom & camera raw freezing images ( NEF or TIFF) whenever I am going to develop. I tried all the stuffs like uninstalling both PS & Lightroom, reinstalling, reinstalling graphics driver etc. In the PS, there is no problem but only problem happening in Camera Raw & Lightroom. If I uncheck the option “use graphics processor” on both application everything working fine but a bit slow. My question is why this is happening? I had Gtx 630 previously which was lower end GPU everything was working good. So why the hell I upgraded my gpu?

For better rendering obviously. I figured out My GPU is working fine enough (tested) but there is a bug in these package of software. My notebook also runs on gtx 950m & there is no glitch or bug, the same software package installed like desktop. I dont want to downgrade my Camera raw, because I saw system information on Camera raw & Lightroom. Both of them says everything is passed like open gl 4.4 etc.

Then where is the glitch? Why this is happening only on desktop gpu not the notebook? I also read the adobe forum & there are thousands of people facing the same problem with GPU option. Can adobe provide a strong package like no glitch or bug?

I am running Lightroom 6.7 (standalone) and I am not able to find a way to add lens profiles to Lightroom. I am sure that the Nikon lens I want to add is in your database because the lens were release in 2002.

9.0

In addition I also use Tokina lens and I am not able to download their profiles either. Please provide me with instructions on where to fine this plugin and how to install it.

First, for those reading who have no idea what I’m talking about a Lightroom preset is basically a recipe to achieve a desired look in Adobe Lightroom.Presets adjust all kinds of elements of the photo at once: such as exposure+contrast+tone curves+clarity, to make an image look completely different.Presets are especially helpful when a set of photos have been taken under similar circumstances (lighting, settings, etc) to make the set look uniform and cohesive. You may want to edit your photos individually, and that’s okay, too. But if you could save yourself the most precious of all commodities (time), then why in the world wouldn’t you?I’ve been on pins and needles waiting to hear SLR Lounge announce their new preset system update. I love their current set so much, and I’ve seen (albeit only the second hand interwebs kind of “seen”) just how tedious the new release has been for the SLR Lounge team. They are complete perfectionists (in an awesome way) and have been working around the clock to release v6.The version I’ve been using for quite a while now appeals to me mostly on the level of functionality. They are grouped into sets, i.e.

There are several tone curves – cool, neutral, warm, each with subcategories – labeled as washes, punches, and vintage inspired punches). Everything is easy to find and understand (no “sugar-plum pumpkin-fairy-matte” kind of names here). You can set import options to automatically sharpen, correct distortion, etc. Some one-click before and afters I put together for demonstrative purposes:I love the dark fades – especially the B&W filmic one if there are a lot of shadows present in the original. Adds an old, beautiful mood.Every once in a while I’ll want to add extra color without the hassle of toggling the sliders. For this shot I used the Max HDR effect under the Base-vivid panel. The photo above would have not been something I would have thought to try, but I love it.

It’s the result of the Color Dark-fade filmic preset. Another thing I love about the filmic presets is the presence of noise (grain) that just about everyone and their mothers try to avoid. It’s a result of added sharpening, and I love it because it’s different. The B&W options are insane. This one is a vintage punch, another one-and-done click. I don’t always veer toward B&W, but if the mood fits – or there’s crazy color casting on the skin (you can see some green on baby girl’s body), it’s an easy fix. There are also very basic presets which help correct exposure or contrast. It’s easy to mouse over the preset to see which one will give you the look you need. And finally, I love the tone curves.

Whichever one I choose to go with depends completely on the photo and the colors present in the original. In short, I would absolutely recommend these presets to anyone who wishes to speed their workflow with a methodical, practical preset system and might be looking to experiment withIf you love Lightroom like I do, I hope you’ll check them out!
