Placed an order for two Glock 17 17-round transparent magazines on 9/27/19. Didn't hear back from them. When I emailed them, they sent me a shipping acknowledgement on 10/2/19.

My friend just picked up a Bushmaster XM15-E2S, and wants to replace the front hand guard (the regular, plastic 7' guard) with a quad rail. I have the Troy on my Ruger SR-556 and love it, and suggested something from Troy.The question is, what's the best quad rail that's bigger than the current one? His gun is the flat top version, I've attached an actual picture. A rail that covers most of the barrel would be nice since he has a slew of accessories he wants to attach.Thanks in advance.Please don't let your friend be 'that guy' at the range with his 'Optics Ready' carbine with no sights and a crazy expensive quad rail. I would be much more concerned with getting a good pair of irons on that rifle.
As others have stated, cut the bayo lug, sling swivel, and delta ring off and get a free floated rail/hand guard that bolts directly to the barrel nut. Centurion, Troy, and rainier are good choices. If he puts a 7' drop in quad rail on that gun, he will have wasted good space and have been left with a stupidly short sight radius.
Cutting those three things off is a 10 minute job. Be sure to cover the bare metal where you cut with some sort of high temp something or other.The guy bought the rifle and now wants to attach a bunch of stuff to it. I'm guessing he wanted to attach stuff to it before he bought it. I think it's obvious that he knows nothing about ar's. My guess is that this is his first one.Since it's obvious to me that he knows little to nothing about ar's I'm not sure why a lot of people in this thread are suggesting that he immediately start gunsmithing on this ar.
